Choice Writing

Never Ending Doors:

There was a man named Doorey and he was inside a dairy, buying a pack of chips. Once he bought the pack of chips and was about to eat them until he found something in the alley. He walked to the alley and found something that is a door. He said,”What the? why is there an abandoned door in the alley”. He found a sign that says ‘A Magic Endless Door, don’t go into the door or you’ll never came back’.
He said,”It’s not a magic door. Someone just through that door because it smell like Rotten eggs or something…”. He entered the door.
Then the dust blown off the sign. Then the sign says again, ‘Warning: If you enter the door there will be some dangerous things happening there’. Once Doorey entered the door. He saw pictures of his grandparents at war. Doorey said, ”Wow!, it’s my grandparents when there were young”. He found a another door and said, "I'm not going in that door yet I’ll just go back and let everybody know that it is a magic door”. Once he walked to the doorknob and the door just randomly disappeared. Then the alarm sound went on and speaker said, “Self Destruct active in 10, 9, 8, 7…”. Doorey ran to the next door and then closed it as it hit to 1 seconds. Doorey said, “That was close, I was like running to the door and closed it. I’m like James Bond”. He looked at the next door and saw nothing but the dark. He began hear voice people saying, “Don’t worry he will come”. Doorey relied, “Who’s saying”. The lights started to turn on, and he saw is family. His family said, “Happy Birthday!”. Doorey relied, “For me!”.
The family said, “Doorey, you look so tall”. Doorey relied, “What are you talking, I’m always like that”. The family relied, “You might be the future Doorey”.
The doors opened and he saw a the kid version of himself. “For Me!”, he said. “Wait minute, are me!”. Doorey said, “No I’m not!”. Doorey ran to the next door and closed the door as quickly as he can. As he closed the door, he saw a classroom called ‘Room 8’. He looked behind the classroom and saw boys playing basketball. “Dude pass it to Michael!”, said Doorey. Kolio passed it to Michael and then he dunk the ball. “Thanks Doorey”, said Michael. “You're Welcome”, Doorey replied. Doorey ran to the next door. As he entered the door, he looked behind and saw a lot of delicious food. Doorey drill a lot. He started to eat those delicious food. As he continued eating the food. He saw a food gardener, that owns his food. “Hey! you're not allowed to eat my crops. Can’t you learn some respect!”, he said. The food gardener pulled out his candy cane shotgun and his face started to go red. The guy chased Doorey and tried to shoot him in the head, but missed. Doorey ran to the next door and through a cake at the food gardeners face. “That will keep him busy”. Doorey said. “You know what, I should keep running through the doors”. Doorey kept running and running through each door. He ran at 4 doors until he stop from that door, that has a black hole on the bottom of the cliff. “I better be careful”, said Doorey. Doorey looked at right and what he saw was a 10 mitre plank and a grappling hook. Doorey push the plank and it landed on the other side like a bridge. Suddenly the plank started to break apart. Doorey used the grappling hook on the other side of the platform and then he climbed up until he made it, to the top.
Doorey opened the next door and saw lots of animations on each screen. “Wow!”, he said. “That’s a lot of animations from 2001 to 2016”. Doorey ate his packet of chips while he was watch each animation.
Meanwhile, Doorey stood up and said, “Well I better get going”. Doorey started running through doors again. He went to 10 doors and there’s still no door that leads to his home. Until he stopped again and looked around.
He saw plenty of doors and a sign that says, ‘The End’. “Wait a minute”, said Doorey.
Doorey noticed that there’s sand covering the sign. He blew the sand away and a text of the sign says, ‘Just Joking! but choose a door though, you might go home’.
Doorey chosen a door that has a number 15 and opened it.
What he saw is space outside the space station. “Gravity will now be turned off”, said the speaker. Suddenly, everything started to float and oxygen is about to turned off as well. Doorey grabbed the jetpack from the ceiling and started the ignition button.
Doorey flew through 9 doors, until his jetpack ran out of gas.
“Uh Oh”, said Doorey. He was worried that the jetpack ran out of gas.
Suddenly, Doorey began to fall slowly on the ground.
Doorey took of his jetpack and land safely. The jet pack exploded and then Doorey landed on a dojo, filled with ninjas. “Wow!, there is a lot of ninjas”, said Doorey.
Then the ninjas looked at Doorey and said, “Trespasser! send out reinforcement quick!”. All the ninjas chased at Doorey and threw ninja stars.
Doorey ran to the next door and saw a screening room, himself, a director and some famous people sitting down watching their movie. “Wow, you’re awesome Percy Jackson”, said Doorey. “WAIT! Until Christmas!”, Percy Jackson replied. Doorey ran at the next door. Doorey entered the door and saw people dancing in a tall building. “Keep dancing!”. said the director. Doorey danced for 5 minutes and ran quickly to the next door. As Doorey entered the door, he looked at the sign that says, ‘Invisible Maze’. “Nah, nevermind that”, said Doorey, running back to the other door. When Doorey ran to back the door, he went back to the invisible maze again.
Doorey ran again, but he still went to the same spot.
“There’s only one way. I hate this!”, said Doorey, crying.
“Ow!”, Doorey hit his head on the invisible wall and picked up an invisible ladder.
Doorey climbed up, and then a guy appeared and talked to Doorey.
“Hey you can’t cheat. But it’s ok because I was gonna tear this down anyway”.
“What’s your name Mr”, Doorey replied.
“My name is Cal”, said The Guy. “Come on go on you're almost there. Just GO!”.
Cal pushed him next to the door. Doorey hugged Cal and said, “Thank you Cal”.
“Why are you hugging me”, said Cal.
“Because you remind me like my older brother, who died”, Doorey replied.
“Ok”, said Cal, hugging him.
“Bye”, said Doorey running at the next door, waving him.
As he entered the door Doorey ran the next door that says, ‘The End!! (For real)’.
As he was running he looked up at the sky and saw people with a different types of coloured skin, falling from the sky. Doorey kept running and running until the colourful people were blocked the door. Everybody were chasing at Doorey and was surrounding him. Doorey jumped at a man and ran as quick as he can.
People were holding on to him and trying to stop him from getting to the door.
Doorey pulled and pulled but it was to heavy to pull.
Doorey pulled harder and then he open the door. Once he open the door the colourful people turned to glitter. Doorey heavily breath by exhaustion.
6 minutes later, Doorey stood up and walked inside the last door.
Doorey finally got back to his home and then slept in his bed.
Meanwhile, the sun rose up and Doorey woke up.
“What am I gonna do with this door”, said Doorey.

Doorey picked up a note and read it. ‘Dear: Doorey please keep this as a secret and also you can get back home if you want to. Love: Cal’. Doorey put the note in his pocket and started to use it again. Doorey played with Cal hours and hours. Doorey also gets to go to other doors. Then he lived happily ever after.

  • using a 'Google Spreadsheet'.  Firstly I entered my data in the first 2 columns.
  • I then selected this information and the graph.
  • I also used the customization tool edit the title to know which is graphs, which is the amounts and what is it called.

What were learning on Maths

This morning in maths we investigated the angles of triangles. I drew an triangle then I cut it out. After that started to cut the edges off. Then I put it to a straight line and then I contented them and preform as a equilateral triangles. I learnt that the angles of the triangle add up to 180 degrees.

Scary, Excited and Nervous

In my first day at camp, I was really excited to experience camping and nervous because I never lived without my parents before. We went to MERC and I learnt so many things in there and it gave me the knowledge of how to survive from outdoors. I grew confidence, virtue and skills. At MERC we learnt more about teamwork, being competitive and communicating with one another. MERC saved my life in there because it gained me trust, confidence, knowledge and consideration.

Reading is Important

People are thinking that, why is reading important?
The reason why reading is important is to build your knowledge and to improve our education. People read everyday to develop their skills to be prepared for the future, because people want to be a scientist, a lawyer and all other jobs that you can think of. People are good at those things because they work hard for it. They keep on practising and they have all the knowledge to do all these things because they read a lot.

When people read novels, fictions and things like, is because they entertain us. They make us feel scared, sad, shocked and happy. The reason why reading entertains us because they have different genres, interesting stories and the message behind. Reading can be interesting if it has a writer or author. Writers and authors make reading interesting. They make us inspired by them and made us want to read more. Believe it or not reading gives more information rather than watching movies and tv. Reading gives more information because the writers and authors extended the story to let people know more all about.

Reading can help us with our education because it can build up our writing and literacy. It can help you understand new vocabulary that you have not learned before. Reading can also help you improve your memory and concentration. That is good for developing the skills from the future. Reading can be everything and everywhere. No matter where we go, there will always be reading.

You must read all the time, cause if you don’t your life will get worst. People at schools or at public will tell you to read a book and try understand it, and understanding is one of the things that got to do will reading. Also if you don’t read you will not have the knowledge to get job and do things in the future. Imagine what will happen without reading.

So that’s why reading is important and I recommend you to read at home!

The purpose of this ad is to make the audience that they should think about the people who are helpless and can't stand to themselves.


The man's actions from the ad make the audience feel that they should do the same. The advertisement tells a message to the world that they should make a change to themselves.


The situation advertisement makes the audience think that they should be thankful, generous and thoughtful to others. The music makes the audience feel.


From the subtitles from the ad, understands what the man is saying or what are his thoughts. The advertisement links on what is on real life.

The advertisement was made in 1985.
The writer from the advertisement use this phrase “Do Get Caught!”, and repeated throughout the ad.  This writer has used the little girl that she can be an angel so that the will make the audience feel that the little girl is innocent and sweet. The writer has described to me about what’s inside the egg and what it taste like.  Looking at the little girl makes you think it must be nice. This makes me think it might be nice to have one. The writer tells facts about the Creme Chocolate and showed the Creme Chocolate. The writer used this phrase “can’t resist them” to make the audience think that they should try out one of these.
