My Favourite Place

Cornwall Park

A long time ago when I first came to New Zealand, My mum told me about this place called Cornwall Park. In my mind I thought Cornwall Park will be really cool. Once we got there I find this place a bit boring I don’t like trees that much when I was a kid. My mum toured us in Cornwall Park to show us how beautiful the place is. After that we talked around a bit, we had a picnic underneath the tree. In my mind I finally find this place cool now. I started playing around the trees, the playground and everything.

Four years later, it was my birthday my mum took me in Cornwall Park to have a party there. She brought her friends to the party and it was a good party. Because I loved playing that big tree and it made me feel like I lived in an elf’s tree dome.

After my birthday, we went to Cornwall Park again and we saw farm with fences and we saw cows, sheeps and lambs. After that we went on top of the hill and it was very windy and noisy. It was a nice view there, I can see everything the whole Auckland. Then it began to turn dark and we went home.

I enjoyed Cornwall Park and it was fun there.

In My Holidays

Waiheke Island

In the holidays my uncle came to New Zealand to come and visit us. One day we went to Waiheke Island for a trip. We had lots of fun there but the food and ride were really expensive. Later on we went to beach, but except for my brother and I went swimming. After that I had to go back home with my mum and little brother to get ready for my school prize giving.

Hobbiton

After our Waiheke Island trip, we plan to go to Hobbiton. It took us a very long time to get there. Once we got there, we walked around the village and took photos of the view. Then we went to Rotorua and in a motel for a night

Rotorua

After we went in Hobbiton we went to Rotorua to see the nice beaches and other beautiful sights.

Pizza Homemade

We made homemade pizza because I love to cook and become a chef. It was very hard making the pizza dough, hut when it was cooked it tasted nicer than I thought it would.

Strawberry picking

we went to Strawberry picking because my mum and likes strawberry so much and they want us to be healthy. It was tiring and hot and I was sweating a lot, but was still worth it. I had fun picking strawberries.

My name is Michael and I am new at Saint Patrick’s school, I am a year 8 and I am in room 8. My culture is Filipino and I am 12 years old.My favourite sport is basketball, and I am good at it. I like studying, reading and drawing. I am a very nervous from Saint Patrick because I am new in here and I am working new stuff today.
